16 February 2022

Morecambe Football Club is pleased to announce Lancaster brand consultancy and design studio, Two Stories, as its Brand and Design Partner for 2022.

The Club has appointed the consultancy to develop its brand strategy and implement the brand across design and communications going forward, to further strengthen the Shrimps’ brand and help it achieve its three-year plan.

The partnership will see the development of Morecambe FC’s Club and ground branding, matchday campaigns, and hospitality and commercial sponsorship activities, as well as its non-match day events.

Two Stories, which focuses on purpose-led brand development, design and digital, that helps business grow, was launched in 2019 by Morecambe born and bred duo, Rob Ellis and Bekkie Hull.

The studio delivers work across the UK and Europe, including Channel 4’s 4Sales, London Symphony Chorus and The Advertising Association, as well as well-known regional businesses, such as Dennison Trailers and MH Stainton Homes.

Rob Ellis, co-founder and Managing Director at Two Stories, said: “We are incredibly proud to have been selected as the Brand and Design Partner for Morecambe Football Club.

“Two Stories has been briefed to look at the brand beyond the badge, creating a future-facing narrative for the Shrimps, whilst acknowledging the club’s 102-year-old rich history. As both a local and one of the club’s devoted fans, this really is a dream project for me and the team.”

General Manager Ben Sadler said: “We are thrilled to be working alongside Two Stories as our new Brand & Design partner. Our supporter base is growing rapidly and we are looking stay ahead of the game, working proactively year round to maximise the Club’s offer and outreach.

“Bekkie, Rob & the team at Two Stories will help us assess and align everything that we currently do, improving and creating consistency in the manner and ‘look’ that the Club imposes in the public domain. We are incredibly excited to be working alongside a team that share our enthusiasm and drive to improve Morecambe Football Club in every sense.”
