Midfielder Callum Jones has been recalled by parent club Hull City.
The 20-year-old arrived in the summer and scored twice in 18 appearances in all competitions, once against Hartlepool United in the Papa John's Trophy and once in Sky Bet League One against Fleetwood Town.
“Callum has been fantastic for us this season," said Shrimps boss Stephen Robinson.
"He has been ready to go whenever we have needed him and it has been good to see him grow as a player during his time at the Club.
“Hull have exercised the right to recall him, he goes back there with our best wishes, and we have no doubt that he is going to have a fantastic career.”
Everybody at Morecambe Football Club would like to place on record our thanks to Callum for all his efforts and wish him all the best for his future endeavours.
