Fane excited to link up with Manager again

New arrival Ousmane Fane says he's excited to link up with Manager Stephen Robinson for the second time in his career.

The Shrimps boss signed the 28-year-old during his time as Oldham Athletic manager, and the Frenchman became a regular starter under Robinson.

After arriving at the Mazuma Stadium, Fane says he hopes to work well with the gaffer once again in a division he admits he is comfortable with.

“I know the league well, I have played a lot of games in this league with Oldham," he said.

"It is good to be back with the Manager, we know each other from our time there and I really hope that we can work well together again.

"I have been in Asia for the last two years and I wanted to come back to play in England, so I got in contact with the gaffer, I have been here training for a few weeks and thankfully I did enough to earn a contract."

Fane had been training with the Club for two weeks before signing his contract, and now that the deal is done, he admits he'll be giving his all for the badge and for his team-mates.

He added: “I am very energetic in midfield, I love to run, I love to do the dirty work for my team-mates.

"I will give my best every game, 100%, I hope they will see that when I am on the pitch.

“It is never easy to come to a team halfway through the season, everybody has made me feel welcome and it is so good to be back in England."
