The Shrimps will host Sky Bet Championship side Stoke City in Round One of this season's Carabao Cup on Tuesday 9 August 2022 with a 7.45pm kick-off.
This will be the first time the two sides have met in competitive action, the draw for Round One took place on Thursday 24 June on Sky Sports News.
The Shrimps made Round Two of the competition last season, seeing off Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park before the run came to an end at home to Preston North End.
Meanwhile the Potters made it to Round Four, beating Fleetwood Town, Doncaster Rovers and Watford respectively before losing on home soil to Premier League Brentford.
