Morecambe's 2022/23 Sky Bet League One campaign got underway with a 0-0 home draw against Shrewsbury Town.
Both sides were able to carve out a number of big chances without finding the back of the net as the points were shared on a wet and rainy afternoon at the Mazuma Stadium.
