The Shrimps’ Papa John’s Trophy Group and Carabao Cup draw ball number have been confirmed by the EFL.
Papa John's Trophy
We have been placed in Northern Group A for the upcoming 2022/23 Papa John’s Trophy campaign, where we will face opponents from Sky Bet League Two in the form of Harrogate Town and Hartlepool United.
The Shrimps will also face Everton U21s.
All EFL Clubs will play two of their three matches at home in the Group Stages, with the opening ties to take place week commencing 29 August.
Carabao Cup
We will play Stoke City at the Mazuma Stadium in Round One of this season's Carabao Cup.
Carabao Cup Round One fixtures will take place week commencing 8 August.
