Following a restructuring of the Club's Medical Department, Morecambe FC is pleased to announce the appointment of Oliver Howse as the new Head of Medical and Performance.
Having initially joined the Club's medical department four years ago where he worked closely with Simon Farnworth, Oliver has grown and developed into a highly-skilled and valued member of the football staff at the Mazuma Stadium.
In his new position, Oliver will lead on all medical and performance aspects of the first-team, and will be supported by Jack Griffin, who has also been promoted to the role of First-Team Physiotherapist from his previous role within the Club's Academy.
On his appointment, Oliver said:
"I'm over the moon to have gained this new position and really excited for the future.
"This is something I've been working towards for many years since I left university in 2015. I've gained a good amount of experience at non-league level and within Academy football since then, and also in my previous role here within the Club's medical department where I worked with Farny, who I learned so much from.
"I'm really looking forward to building on the great work that's already in place here, and can't wait to get started."
