Morecambe fell to a narrow defeat against second place Ipswich Town at the Mazuma Stadium in Sky Bet League One.
Kieran Phillips opened the scoring with a delightful finish on 34 minutes, but Town responded in the second half through George Edmundson before Lee Evans won it from the spot.
