The Shrimps overcame Hartlepool United on penalties after both sides played out a 0-0 draw in 90 minutes.
Adam Smith pulled off two excellent saves to deny Hartlepool's first two from the spot before Jensen Weir, Cole Stockton, Ryan Cooney and Donald Love secured the bonus point.
