Farrend Rawson says the team are looking for an immediate response against Peterborough United following Tuesday’s defeat.
The Shrimps remain unbeaten in nine at the Mazuma Stadium, and results against Bristol Rovers and Forest Green respectively showed the group’s capabilities at responding well to losses on the road.
Given the run of form at home, and taking Tuesday’s result at Hillsborough into account, Rawson admits the group will be looking to right the wrongs.
“As you can see, we always bounce back, so I think we’ll be looking at doing that again,” he said.
“When the whistle goes and the 90 minutes is over, there’s not much you can do; you can evaluate it like we do, we come back on the Monday and go through it, we put it to bed and you’ve got to move on quick.
“Especially where we are in the table, we can’t be sulking about anything, the set of lads we’ve got, it’s a really good set, and the management make sure we move on quick.
“At this stage of the season, games are coming thick and fast, it’s all about moving onto the next one because you can’t do anything about the last game, so it’s all about moving on, adapting yourself to the next game and putting on a good show.”
The defender arrived as Derek Adams' third summer signing back in June, and Rawson has praised the gaffer for putting trust in the team, something the lads want to repay.
"He puts a lot of faith in the players," Rawson added.
"He has a plan, he sets it out and it's about the environment, he makes it a good environment, the lads make it a good environment.
"He fills us all up with courage and says 'we're good players, we deserve to be here, let's go out and show them'.
"Hopefully we can now keep repaying the favour and putting in good performances.
"You need to have something that's good and the home form's really good at the moment, so let's keep that going."
