Morecambe extended their impressive unbeaten home run to seven games without loss following a 2-1 win over Cheltenham Town at the Mazuma Stadium on Saturday.
Jensen Weir broke the deadlock on 20 minutes after some impressive build-up play and, following a neat one-two with Kieran Phillips, the Brighton and Hove Albion loanee slotted home his ninth goal in all competitions.
Alfie May found an equaliser on 39 minutes after latching on to Liam Sercombe through ball and calmly slotting past Connor Ripley.
Two minutes into the second-half and Morecambe's lead was restored through Phillips who controlled Ryan Cooney's cross into the box before finding the bottom left corner.
