The Shrimps shared the spoils with Blackpool in an entertaining pre-season clash at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium.
Tom Bloxham scored his first goal in front of the home faithful to give the Shrimps a first half lead only for Shayne Lavery to level proceedings 10 minutes after the break.
It was Blackpool who started the game on the front foot with C J Hamilton causing problems with his pace down the right-hand side and seeing two early shots blocked by Farrend Rawson.
The game itself burst into life after the half-hour mark with Neil Critchley's side twice being denied by their former keeper Stuart Moore.
Lavery had the first sight of goal on 31 minutes with a right-footed shot from the left-hand side of the area which drew a save from Moore low to his left.
Jake Beesley then headed wide at full stretch before Moore was called into action again when Lavery saw his final effort superbly saved by the Shrimps' stopper.
Morecambe began to threaten themselves with Michael Mellon's effort across the six-yard box almost finding the sliding Rawson.
And it was Adams' men who ended the half the game's opening goal on 44 minutes. Donald Love floated a free kick to the far post and Bloxham was left in space to volley past Rich O'Donnell from 12 yards out.

The Seasiders were soon back in the game after the break with danger man Lavery finally beating Moore after a superb dummy to create the opening which ended with a cool finish.
From there onwards, chances were at a premium with Hamilton volleying wide from the edge of the area before Adam Mayor struck a free kick straight at O'Donnell.
The game then came to an unfortunate conclusion when Brad Holmes clashed heads with Rawson which led to a long delay before the Blackpool man stretchered off and the game brought to an early conclusion.
