Morecambe FC will play host to Wigan Athletic in pre-season friendly prior to start of new 2023/24 campaign.
Wigan Athletic will come to the Mazuma Stadium on Saturday 29th July for a 3.00pm kick off as both clubs do battle ahead of the new 2023/24 season getting underway just days later.
Shaun Maloney will be pushing his Latics for an immediate return to the SkyBet Championship and will be looking to build on the momentum the club have following a recent change in ownership which has secured the future of the former Premier League side.
This will be one of The Shrimps most stern tests in pre-season and will be a fitting conclusion to a 6-strong list of friendlies ahead of the SkyBet League Two season.
