Our home fixture against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday 28 October has been chosen to commemorate Remembrance Day.
Our planned pre-match ceremony aims to honour those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
Upon arrival to the stadium, supporters will notice The Royal British Legion selling poppies outside the main entrance.
Flag bearers from our veterans and serving members from The Royal Logistics Corp will be pitch-side from 14:45 to welcome the players to the pitch.
Moments later, representatives from the Club and the Shrimps Supporters Trust will lay a wreath pitch side before a poem is read by Mrs Maree Brown, President of the Morecambe & Heysham branch of the Royal British Legion.
A Bugler will then perform The Last Post before a two-minute silence is observed. Once the two-minute silence is over, a rendition of Reveille will complete the ceremony.
Supporters are advised to arrive early ahead of the ceremony which will begin at around 14:45.
