Statement from The FA following our match with Salford City (2nd September):
Morecambe and Salford City have been charged with a breach of FA Rule E20.1 following a mass confrontation that took place during the 94th minute of their EFL League Two game on Saturday, 2 September.
It’s alleged that both clubs failed to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour, and they are required to respond by Monday, 11 September.
