Morecambe FC Academy is continuing with a trio of Development Centres, offering quality coaching to talented young footballers across the local area.
There are three Development Centre sessions each week, providing opportunities for players aged U5-U13 (Reception to Year 8) who are wishing to develop their football and life skills in a friendly and enjoyable environment.
The Development Centres run parallel to the club's Academy and provide regular training sessions from FA and UEFA qualified coaches, with the aim of supporting players in the local area to reach their full potential. Our Development Centres offer gifted and talented players a pathway into the Academy environment, if Club staff feel this is the appropriate pathway for the player.
We are continuing with weekly indoor sessions for U5-U6 and U7-U8 age groups at Bay Leadership Academy, on Monday evenings. These separate sessions will enable smaller groups to focus on individual technical aspects and team activities.
On Wednesday evenings there will be weekly sessions at Lancaster & Morecambe College 3G for U9 to U13 players, which will cover technical and tactical aspects of the game.
Sessions start week commencing 17th October 2022 and can be booked in 10 week blocks. Advance booking is essential, as places are limited.
Cost: £50 for each 10 week block*
(*If you book midway through the 10 week period, you will be charged pro-rata for the available sessions remaining. Please note, individual sessions cannot be selected.)
