Frenchman Arthur Gnahoua joined the club after being released from Bolton Wanderers in summer 2021.
After moving to England from a young age, Gnahoua had a brief spell at the Bolton Wanderers academy before kicking off his senior career with Stalybridge Celtic.
Two successful spells with Macclesfield Town followed, scoring seven goals in 66 appearances, before Gnahoua signed for the Trotters in September 2020 where he played 30 games, providing five assists and netting three times.
Gnahoua scored five League One goals in 2021/22, which saw the forward make 40 appearances in all competitions, providing four assists, and was rewarded by Derek Adams with a new contract ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
