Jensen Weir arrived at the Mazuma Stadium in July 2022 on a season-long loan from Brighton & Hove Albion.
Born in Warrington, Weir progressed through Wigan Athletic's Academy before becoming the Club's youngest ever player to feature for the Latics, aged 15 years and 280 days old.
After making the move to Brighton U23s in July 2020, Weir spent the 2021/22 Sky Bet League One season on-loan at Cambridge United, where he scored once, a dipping header from the edge of the box against AFC Wimbledon, and provided one assist which came against Morecambe in November 2021.
