Former Tottenham Hotspur youth product Jon Obika joined the Shrimps in June 2021 on a two-year deal.
The 6ft striker spent six years at White Hart Lane and, in that time, gained valuable playing experience on loan at a variety of clubs, including Milwall, Yeovil Town, Charlton Athletic and Crystal Palace.
After leaving the North London club, Obika spent three years at Swindon Town where he scored 28 goals in 108 appearances.
Following his spell at The County Ground, the Enfield-born man enjoyed successful stints at Oxford United and St Mirren before arriving at the Mazuma Stadium.
Despite a serious injury sustained in Pre-Season of 2021/22, Obika battled back and managed to make 12 League One appearances, scoring twice, and was able to face former side Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup.
