The Shrimps skipper came through the ranks at Manchester United and has had spells with Chester City, Hereford United, Yeovil Town, Cheltenham Town (loan), Scunthorpe United (loan), Stockport County, Norwich City (loan), Swindon Town, Colchester United and Rochdale.
The central midfielder was a left sided full back for the majority of his career but converted to his current role during his spell at Rochdale.
The influential playmaker signed for Morecambe prior to the 2016/17 season and played a vital role in the Shrimps’ survival in what was a difficult season for the club.
