After coming through the ranks at Myerscough College with Alex Kenyon, the speedy forward earned himself a deal with Stockport County where he attracted Oldham Athletic with his 6 goals in 17 appearances.
Preston born Turner made the switch to Oldham for an undisclosed fee where he spent 2 years, making loan moves to York City and Macclesfield Town before signing a 2-year-deal for Morecambe in 2016.
After 36 appearances and 2 goals for Morecambe, Turner was loaned back to former club Stockport County in January 2018 for the remainder of the season.
