Ryan Delaney, a former Bolton Wanderers man, became the Club's fourth signing of the 2021/22 summer window.
Before joining the Shrimps on a two-year deal, Delaney had made over 180 professional career appearances, scoring 15 goals and providing 6 assists from the heart of the defence.
Additionally, the defender has represented the Republic of Ireland at U21 level, making 5 appearances.
The Wexford-born man brings a wealth of experience to the Mazuma Stadium and has even played in the Europa League Qualifying stages for Cork City.
Unable to establish himself as a first team regular in 2021/22, Delaney spent the second half of that season on-loan at Scunthorpe United, before returning to Morecambe and putting in a Man of the Match performance against Shrewsbury Town in the 2022/23 opener.
