No-nonsense defender Farrend Rawson joined Morecambe in June 2022 on a two-year deal.
Rawson came through the ranks at Derby County and benefited from several loan moves to the likes of Rotherham United, Coventry City, Accrington Stanley before leaving Pride Park permanently for Forest Green United in 2018.
A two-and-a-half year stay at the New Lawn saw the centre-back rack up 97 appearances, two of which came in the 2018/19 Sky Bet League Two Play-Off Semi Finals against Tranmere Rovers.
In the summer of 2020, Rawson made the move to Mansfield Town where he played 80 times before being released at the end of the 2021/22 campaign.
