Born in Dublin, Barry Roche is a former Irish Under 21s international, he spent his youth career at Leicester Celtic and Leeds United, where he found his feet as a goalkeeper.
In his career, he has also played for Nottingham Forest and Chesterfield.
Roche joined the Shrimps in 2008, during his time at the Club he was appointed captain and in recent years, caretaker manager.
He retired from playing in 2020, and became a permanent member of the backroom staff shortly after, taking the goalkeeper coach role.
