Howse knew he always wanted a career in the football and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Rehabilitation in 2015. During his studies, he worked at multiple injury clinics, including some time alongside track and field athlete Steve Cram.
Howse went on to work for Blackpool’s Academy, heading their medical team, before a short spell as the first-team Rehabilitator at Barrow AFC. He joined hometown club Morecambe in 2019 and is currently completing his Masters, in Sports Medicine.
