Jake Taylor joined Morecambe in July 2022, on a two-year deal, for an undisclosed fee.
A product of Manchester United's Academy, Taylor also spent time with the youth set up at Nottingham Forest.
Whilst with the City Ground club, the midfielder had stints on-loan with Port Vale and Scunthorpe United respectively, before opting to join The Valiants permanently in January 2021.
Taylor battled back from an injury-hit 2021/22 campaign to help guide Vale to Sky Bet League Two Play-Off success, overcoming Swindon Town over two legs before defeating Mansfield Town in the Final at Wembley.
