28-year-old Ousmane Fane joined the Club in January 2022 on an initial short-term deal until the end of the season.
The midfielder has played in England, Malaysia and Indonesia, and has racked up more than 130 career appearances to-date, with more than half of those appearances coming in Sky Bet League One.
After joining, Fane made 12 League One appearances in 2021/22, playing 785 minutes in total and was retained under Derek Adams ahead of the 2022/23 season.
