Born in barrow, Erin played most of her childhood in goal for Barrow Celtic boys until the age of 10, then played for two years at Barrow Celtic girls in central defence before further experience with for Dalton Girls and Ladies as a defender.
Erin played open age women’s football at Vickerstown in a nine-a-side summer league in goal before moving to Morecambe in 2021 to play as part of the first team and the reserves.
