Ellie Townsend joined the club in September 2022.
After a 14 year hiatus from the game, centre midfielder Townsend spent last season at Galgate FC before joining the Shrimps this season.
Ellie enjoys a range of sports and in her early years, excelled in netball. She was selected for the England U17 netball squad as well as captaining the British Colleges Squad and University of Birmingham 1st team.
The Mancunian has recently moved to the Lancaster and Morecambe area and decided to rediscover her love of football.
