Morecambe travel to Man Utd
THE Shrimps are to travel to Manchester United's Carrington training ground on Tuesday.Jim Bentley's side will face a young United XI in a friendly game with those not playing having a training session using the top of the range facilities at Carrington.
Bentley said: "The Reserves' team game with Port Vale this week has been called off and they have not had a game for a while with some players desperate for match fitness.
"We have a great relationship with United and they have offered us some support which is a great gesture. We will play a game on a great pitch while those not playing can use the amazing facilities there.
"It is something we are all looking forward to and we are really grateful to United for their help.''
