Last minute goal ensures defeat
THE Shrimps' second string suffered defeat at Burton Albion this afternoon.In a game played in the fantastic surroundings of the FA's new King George's Centre Stewart Drummond's side looked set for a share of the spoils after twice coming from behind but were undone by an injury time Burton winner.
The Shrimps started the game as badly as they ended it and were soon 1-0 down.
Dan Parkinson levelled with a fine goal but the Shrimps then conceded a second.
Ryan Williams popped up with a superb equaliser again and the Shrimps spent much of the remainder of the game on top.
Despite creating a number of chances they could not find a third and were made to pay in injury time when the Brewers broke away to steal the victory.
