Striker suffers a fracture

MORECAMBE match winner Kevin Ellison has suffered a fractured his eye socket. 
Ellison suffered the injury while scoring the Shrimps' winner against Mansfield with a brave diving header. 
The striker suffered a kick to the face which forced him to go to Mansfield hospital for treatment. 
He will require further treatment this week to see the full extent of his injury. 
Ellison was praised by boss Jim Bentley for his bravery and determination after the game. 
He said: "Kevin has had a bit is stick recently and has admitted that he hasn't been at his best. But we all know what Kev is about and what he gives the team. 
"on Tuesday might he was running around idle a teenager in the 90th minute of the game and has this amazing determination to win games. 
"That is what he gives you and that is why I was so pleased that he was rewarded with the winner today because he was incredibly brave. 
"We are gutted to lose him for the next few weeks ans we will hopefully have him back as soon as possible."
