Morecambe FC are recruiting! We are looking for staff to work matchdays in a number of departments throughout the Club.

We have a number of positions available in the following areas:

• Fan’s Bar Manager

• Corporate Box Manager

• Corporate Hospitality Steward

• Ground Safety Steward

• Bar Service team member

• Food service team member

• Food Counter team member

• Turnstile Operator

We are looking for people with a positive, “can do” attitude, good communicators, a willingness to work hard. All of these roles are customer-focused so we are looking for cheery people willing to go that extra mile for someone.

Shifts are between 2-10 hours depending on the specific job role, during our home fixtures. We are looking for people who can commit to the remainder of our home fixtures for the 2017/18 season and who would be prepared to commit to the vast majority of our 2018/19 fixtures.

For the positions of Fan’s Bar Manager and Corporate Box Manager, please see below for further details. For other roles, you may not need relevant experience for some of these roles, just the right attributes and positive attitude, as we can provide in-house training for you as required.

Fan’s Bar Manager

The newly renamed JB’s Bar is the focal point for fans to meet both before and after the game to meet up for a drink and to discuss all things football. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person to help engage with our customers and help to drive growth and sales. This is a part time role on a Matchday Saturday 11am-9pm.P (Matchday evening fixture 5pm-12midnight).

The bar has a number of regulars both young and old as well as providing a welcoming atmosphere to new customers and well behaved away supporters. As a family club we allow accompanied children into the bar.

Previous experience of a busy bar environment is essential. You will be leading a team of staff focusing on providing a great Matchday experience to every customer. The bar is closed during the match itself so you will help out at other areas of the ground during the game.

Pay is above the National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage. We are looking for people who can commit to the remainder of our 2017/18 home fixtures and the majority of our 2018/19 fixtures.

Executive Box Manager

Our Corporate Boxes can hold over 100 guests on a Matchday, offering a superior level of comfort and service. We have a range of clients who utilise our facilities, from groups of family & friends to corporate clients and Club directors.

We are looking for a Personal Licence holder with extensive experience of food and drink service. You will be leading a small team representing the Club to a range of VIP guests in both our Boardroom and Corporate boxes, ensuring that all of their needs are met and that licensing policies are adhered to. Working hours are a Matchday Saturday 12pm-8pm (evening fixture 5pm-12am).

Pay is above the National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage. We are looking for people who can commit to the remainder of our 2017/18 home fixtures and the majority of our 2018/19 fixtures.
