MORECAMBE have added defender Jordan Cranston to their squad.
The 24-year-old joins the Shrimps on a one year deal after being released by Cheltenham at the end of last season after two seasons with Gary Johnson’s side.
Left back Cranston spent his early career with Wolverhampton Wanderers before playing for clubs including Nuneaton, Notts County, Lincoln City and Gateshead.
Cranston joined Cheltenham Town for an undisclosed fee on 30 January 2016 and helped the Robins win promotion to the Football League.
Shrimps’ boss Jim Bentley said: “Jordan knows the level and has played a lot of league games for his age.
“He is a good athlete who is good in defence and going forward and will bring valuable experience and depth to the squad.''
