Morecambe's Academy marked the end of their season with a special games programme on Bank Holiday Monday.
Chester FC were the visitors for a competitive set of fixtures on the main pitch at Globe Arena; with age groups from Under 9s through to Under 15s/16s all involved.
The football was followed with an end of season awards ceremony in the Local Choice Suite, where staff were joined by players and their families.
Head of Youth Stewart Drummond thanked all those who had contributed to the success of the academy season and looked forward to the challlenges ahead:
"We've seen further progress this season, with standards rising to match and in some cases exceed those of other Category 3 clubs. Our challenge now is to press on and work towards our aim of becoming the strongest Category 3 club in the North West."
