Stephen Robinson says midfielder Shane McLoughlin plays a bit part in what he is trying to instil in the Shrimps squad.
McLoughlin who has battled his way back into the team after a time on the sideline through suspension and injury has impressed Robinson with his work rate.
He said: “Somebody showed me the statistics with and without Shane [McLoughlin] the other day, it is an incredible difference with him in the team.
“I think what it does do is, he triggers our press, then Alfie [McCalmont] goes with him and then Callum [Jones] goes with him, and they just hunt people down like they have done in the last three games.
“He has made a real difference to us, he is a quality little player and someone who will only get better and better I feel.”
MK Dons are the visitors to the Mazuma Stadium on Saturday and are one of the teams battling for promotion in Sky Bet League One, and Robinson says his side will have to be organised behind the ball if they are to get anything from the game.
He added: “We always knew the next three games were going to be really, really tough - they are a team that play very good football.
“They have an identity and a style of play, we have to try and match that, we will be well prepared in it, they have a very similar system to Charlton which we saw on Tuesday night.
“It is another game where we have to disciplined and organised behind the ball, we will allow them to have it in certain areas of the pitch that we feel won’t hurt us, and we will hit them on the break.”
