Midfielder Aaron Wildig says the team need to approach each game one at a time and attack the end of the season.
The Shrimps are in Lancashire derby action on Saturday when they travel to Accrington Stanley and Wildig says, despite it being a difficult place to go, the Shrimps are capable of picking up points anywhere.
“It [the Wham Stadium] is always a difficult place to go but I’m looking forward to it,” he said.
“Every game is important from now on, February, March, Saturday, Tuesday, I think you’ve seen that in this league you can pick up points anywhere, let’s just approach every game one at a time and just attack the end of the season.
“In the changing room especially where we are in the league and coming to the business end of the season, you start approaching every game the same now, it’s real heads on to get three points and that’s going to be key now going forward."
The 29-year-old’s corner was headed in by Anthony O’Connor for the Shrimps’ first goal in their 3-2 victory over Wycombe Wanders on Saturday, and Wildig says it’s about finding consistency in the side’s remaining games.
He added: “The game [against Wycombe] had it all, when you play these teams at the top of the league, they’re going to have spells in games and it’s about riding out that spell, getting through it, coming out the other side and starting to implement ourself on them again.
“I think it’s all starting to come together hopefully, it’s about trying to get that consistency now over 90 minutes and picking up more wins.
“The fans have been class this year, you can see that by the home attendances and some really good away attendances, travelling in numbers, so that’ll be massive come Saturday.”
