The Shrimps bowed out of the 2022/23 Emirates FA Cup in the first round following defeat at the hands of Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.
Josh Windass opened the scoring on 29 minutes with a long range effort before Alex Mighten completed the scoring just before the midway point of the second half.
