Derek Adams insists there is more drama to come at the top of the league two table as the Shrimps host fellow promotion chasers Newport County this afternoon.
Michael Flynn's side were early leaders in the division, now trailing the Shrimps by two points with a game in hand.
The Sky Bet League Two fixture will see Derek Adams side back on home soil where they haven't suffered defeat since January, winning their last three fixtures at the Mazuma Stadium.
"Newport play a 3-5-2 formation," said Adams ahead of the fixture.
"They have done very well this season, they're in the play-off positions like ourselves.
"We went to Forest Green Rovers on Tuesday night and took a point. We won our previous two games, which were both at home so we're looking forward to being back there.
"It's extremely tight at the top of the league. You just have to look at it and you'll see that there are going to be a lot of twists and turns between now and the end of the season.
"We've got 12 games to go and we're going to give it a shot. We've put ourselves on 56 points and we just have to keep on plugging away."
